Permadoor is delighted to announce that Steve Walden has joined its senior team in the role of customer services manager. Steve brings with him a wealth of experience in customer service improvement within blue-chip organisations, having spent the last 10 years working for Kraft Foods and Cadbury.

During this time Steve managed many different areas within the supply chain business, including working collaboratively with Tesco’s Head Office and being instrumental in the integration of their European computer system. Steve is looking forward to the challenge at Permadoor, where investment has been made both in equipment and restructuring its staff resources to maintain its market-leading position.

As the original manufacturer of specialist composite doors in the UK, with over 25 years’ experience in the affordable homes, new build and social housing markets, Permadoor is the UK’s number one supplier to the social housing sector. This extensive experience includes working with local authorities, housing association registered providers and contractors on refurbishment and new build projects across the UK.

Permadoor has a reputation for delivering quality, thermally-efficient and attractive composite doors that are durable and provide value for money and is committed to continuing to improve its service levels to back up its product offering. Steve’s goal will be to focus on delivering customer service excellence, through re-engineering current processes and looking at innovative ways to continuously improve the support offered to customers.
