Delivering Value

Permadoor's manufacturing and service procedures are led by a continued programme of product performance and customer satisfaction improvements.

Permadoor work hard to ensure its products hold the best accreditation possible and actively help develop performance standards upon which the industry can rely. Permadoor led the development of BSI PAS 23 and PAS 24 door standards as a member of the British Plastics Federation Technical Working Group and are now part of the BSI working group, which has been formed to consult with the industry and to help move PAS 23 and PAS 24 towards full British Standard status.

Our comprehensive portfolio of PAS 23, PAS 24 and Secured By Design products demonstrate clear measures of performance and conform to the rigorous testing of independent agencies to achieve industry quality standards.

Added value from Permadoor is provided by way of local representation and dedicated service support facility. Our customer care is unrivalled and in line with strict accordance to BSI industry standards, which is audited by the British Standards Institute twice a year.

A team of mobile advisors are constantly available to provide technical support, on-site demonstration and training, as well as site reviews and surveying assistance. Permadoor's office based contracts department will assist in project specification and advise on appropriate product options.

Resident involvement is another key area to achieving Best Value and Permadoor has worked hard to create practical features and attractive styles to match their requirements. We offer a 'Residents Choice' service and are able to provide clients with individually tailored forms from which residents can select the door style, colour and glazing design of their choice.

Permadoor also has a clear policy on environmental issues and recycle a wide range of materials including thermoplastic, PVC-U profile and polystyrene off cuts, waste cardboard and paper. In fact our revolutionary Permacore edge, which offers unrivalled levels of performance, is made from recycled material.  Permadoor use the unique Recycled composite material (RCM) reinforcement from Profile 22 in its PVC-U outerframe door profile.  Manufactured from waste PVC-U, this reinforcement provides a closed loop to the recycling process, offers better thermal efficiency, increased strength and has a minimum life cycle of 35 years.

Permadoor supports the requirement for Best Value which brings many benefits to social housing through improved processes, technology and quality products. Permadoor is fully committed to providing products and services that meet the Best Value criteria, which ultimately provides long term added value for social housing providers, residents and tax payers alike.
