Health and Safety at Permadoor is paramount to ensure the safe working environment for all our employees on and off site and for residents when we are fitting our doors.
Permadoor are now happy to announce that they have successfully achieved full accreditation to OHSAS 18001: 1999.
Permadoor manufactures thermoplastic composite doors, supplying made to measure doors to the social housing and commercial market. We are committed to minimizing so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all employees. It will manage its business in such a way, and so far as is reasonably practicable, that the safety and welfare of persons not employed by Permadoor are not exposed to risks.
We will ensure compliance with all relevant H&S legislation and follow a programme of continual improvement, by the operation of an Health and Safety Management System to the requirements of OHSAS 18001:1999.
It is paramount that Permadoor governs and share the same H & S/ Environmental Procedures across our operating sites for consistency and communicate policy to all employees and third parties.

This policy document explains in broad terms, what must be done by everyone within Permadoor to achieve these objectives. The aim is to provide a sound basis for the co-operation between management and employees and is intended to encourage continuous improvement of our Health, Safety and Environmental performance.
Continual improvement and the setting of objectives and targets (reviewed periodically) facilitate the operation of this policy.

Ensuring that our employees are trained to understand and carry out their job responsibilities. This will involve, but will not be limited to, selection, training, re-training, supporting and continuous assessment of employee performance.
Continually monitoring this policy by auditing and reviewing its effectiveness in the workplace.
Always refer to and abide by the Epwin Group Arrangements set out in the Health and Safety Policy February 2007.
Permadoor recognizes the legal obligations placed on it by the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and other Statutory legal and other requirements as may be applicable to our undertaking.
Our Health and Safety documentation may be made freely accessible upon request for third parties and persons who may be affected by our operations.
